                         NiAn feeling "all better"

Picture

NiAn is a precocious kid with a very inventive mind and imagination. She ventures into the attic of her home and discovers a BIG SECRET. This secret takes her on a fabulous adventure which introduces her to, and teaches her about, a world of numbers. This adventure opens her eyes and upon leaving A Land of Multipliers, she has a new attitude about math.

A Land of Multipliers is populated with an interesting assortment of "Math-ites". They are blessed with arms and legs which reflect their names...i.e. 64 has 8 arms with 8 arms. Baby Six contentedly plays underneath the Times Trees and with his 6 arms embraces math and its importance. Twelve, on the other hand, aspires to be the best dancer in the land. She has 12 legs and twirls her ribbons of fur on her way to achieve her dream. The Tables Family is a huge group of all the tables...

Back to her classroom, NiAn is called upon to lead the class in math drill. She happily replies to her teacher:
"Yes, Mrs. Reagor."
